Orchard View Country Market is located in upstate New York, halfway between Rochester and Syracuse.  It is open from April to Christmas and carries plants and gardening supplies, seasonal produce, home-baked goods, specialty food items, candles, Amish-made indoor and outdoor furniture, craft items and gifts.  The Sticker Corner features the Finger Lakes region's largest selection of stickers and children's books.  

The same weather conditions that create our fabled lake-effect snowstorms make this prime apple-producing country and Wayne County has the greatest concentration of apple trees on the planet.

Carol, the sticker lady, is a writer, musician, former teacher and
educational administrator. In addition to the sticker business, she serves
on several healthcare and philanthropic boards and is an observer for the U.S.
National Weather Service. She retired in 2007 as director of victim and witness
services for the district attorney's office in her county.  She has suffered for years
from polymyositis, an uncommon neuromuscular disease which, she regrets, prevents
her from filing the sticker orders as fast as she would like. Carol is a Rotary
International Paul Harris Fellow. She lives among the apple orchards on her
family's 700-acre fruit farm bordering Lake Ontario where, under the critical gaze
of her six cats, she writes and irregularly publishes a newsletter embracing the five
generations of her family.

A resident of Singapore, Jo works full-time in customer service for
a large book company. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting,
rubber stamping and going for long walks.

Jo, web-mistress

The Orchard View family includes granddaughter Kirsten and
great-granddaughters Grace, Haley and Brooke-Lynn. 
Grandma Carol is teaching them to pick apples.
